The V&A’s latest exhibition, Decode Digital Design Sensations celebrates the latest developments in digital and interactive design. Visitors to this unique hands-on experience can interact with works by internationally renowned designers and artists including Daniel Brown, Golan Levin, Daniel Rozin, Karsten Schmidt, Daan Roosegaarde, Aaron Koblin, Troika and Simon Heijdens.

Decode Digital Design Sensations – Layout of the Exhibition

The exhibition has three main themes:

Code as a Raw Material

This part of the exhibition features artworks created by computer code and looks at how that code can be programmed to produce art that is constantly changing, such as Daniel Brown’s series On Growth and Form. Brown, a programmer, designer and artist, was named designer of the year in 2004, by the Design Museum, London. On Growth and Form generates pictures of plants, which will continue to “grow” buds, stalks and blossoms for the duration of the exhibition.
